Circular Head Agricultural Show – Saturday 26TH November 2022

Circular Head Agricultural Show – Saturday 26TH November 2022

The 112th Circular Head Show will finally be held on Saturday 26th November after a two year recess due to Covid restrictions. The Society is looking forward to again holding a family fun day with traditional elements of an agricultural show. Competitions include home industries; dairy and beef cattle; trade cattle; equestrian; wood chopping; Show Girl and boy with the feature event of the day Perry’s Quality Meats – Graze the Region.

The committee has been busy during the recess with maintenance to cattle sheds including a new roof on the stud beef and trade cattle pavilion. This has been possible with funding provided by the State Liberal Government, the Australian Government and the Society.

The Society also thanks the Australian Government for covering costs that were still incurred even though an event was not held. This was provided under the 2021, 2021 and 2022 Federal Liberal Government Supporting Agricultural Shows and Field Days.

The State Liberal Government have also provided funding to cover Covid related requirements for 2022.

The Society welcomes new members and sponsors. All enquiries can contact via email: chagsociety@gmail.com or Secretary 0428 581285
