HEATH THE PIPER
Heath the Piper, from the Northwest Coast, is a multi-instrumentalist specialising in traditional Celtic music. Heath is one of the few Tasmanians who play Uilleann Pipes (Irish Bagpipes), regularly traveling the state to perform, play in sessions and busk. Heath spent nearly fifteen years living in the UK as a full-time musician, playing solo and with Irish band “Slainte”, gigging in and around Oxfordshire, touring Ireland and other European countries prior to returning to Tassie in 2008.
