DUCK RIVER MEADOWS DAIRY
This fully guided tour departs by bus to the dairy centre, travelling through the specially designed pastures and laneways, showing the hump and hollowed fields.
The tour enters the purposely-designed dairy viewing area to observe the unique robots milking cows. Learn about the region’s dairy history, and cheese making at the La Cantara Artisan Cheese Factory; and modern ways of farming.
See cheese maturing in storage at the La Cantara Artisan Cheese Factory; and speak with the cheese maker on the cheese making tour.
Milking Tours: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (every hour, Sat 12 Nov 2022)
9:00 am, 10:00 am, 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm (daily during 11-20 November)
Cheese Making Tour: 1:00 pm (Wed + Fri)
Tours are limited to 12 people
