At the STANLEY HOTEL you’ll find really great pub fare, with a menu packed full of Cape Grim beef and fresh local seafood; crayfish, oysters, farmed abalone, pickled octopus and pink ling.
There may be muddy boots outside the door, but don’t worry, you can leave your shoes on. They’d belong to a local farmer dropping off freshly dug produce or one of Stanley’s fisher-man delivering fresh seafood from their daily catch.
Enjoy your meal and after dinner sit back and relax to the sound of the Americana Blues machine that is RACCOON DOG.
Hailing from Lillydale North East Tasmania, they’ve played with acclaim at Dark Mofo, Falls, and Party in the Paddock. Originally from Utah, Ben Wilson brings his Americana folk, blues influence to original songs with intricate, airy tunes and blues and folk styling.
Ben has teamed up with some Tassie boys, Rudy Valentino (Drums), Henry Rippon (Bass) and Thomas Mitchell (Guitar). They have over 40 years collective experience and accolades and combine it together for this amazing band.
